Awards and Recognitions

At Indiana Tech, we feel that recognizing individuals and organizations for their outstanding achievements in diversity and inclusion is significant, not only as a reward but also to encourage fellow professionals and organizations to embrace and implement excellence in this area.

In addition, we strive to recognize the outstanding academic achievements of our diverse students. This creates a sense of belonging and motivates students to pursue their full potential. It also ushers in a wider range of perspectives in our classrooms, which creates a more inclusive learning environment, overall.

Diversity Vanguard Award

The Diversity Vanguard Award was created to celebrate individuals, departments, and external organizations advancing initiatives that support diversity, equity, accessibility, and inclusion at Indiana Tech.

Lisa D. Sewell Student Persistence Award

The Lisa D. Sewell Student Persistence Award was created to provide financial support to a domestic, Black/African American, undergraduate, traditional student to ensure persistence and degree attainment.
